Planting out the school garden...

Year 3 and 4 at Beachmere State School really got down in the dirt this morning and planted out a lot of herbs and vegetables in the  school garden.

Great effort.

With the plants settled in the soil -- growth can now take place.

  1. Thank you to the volunteers that helped get the garden started over the past few weeks. It was an amazing sight to see students and volunteers working together to plant vegetable and herb seedlings. This has been a real buzz for Beachmere students. Thank you also to the volunteers that participated in the Working Bee this week. Our school gardens are looking amazing! Take a look at our school Gallopili Pine memorial garden full of Australian flags for the ANZAC centenary as you drive by this weekend. It is a special sight. Every Beachmere student planted a flag!
