What's On : Club Beachmere
Wow - what a fortnight we have had a Club Beachmere.. all the behind the scenes hard work and dedication by our Committee and Staff has finally started to see some results with the Club becoming busier and busier each week.
Function party bookings have brought Saturday nights to life, and we have hosted some fabulous celebrations in the past couple of weeks highlighting the diversity of catering options we now have on offer. The feedback has been fantastic and each function has led to more bookings which speaks volumes for the standard of event planning (and of course meals produced by our hardworking Catering team) and Creative Bar Staff.
With our new FULL TIME CHEF, Tony Gallagher, starting with the Catering team Mid August we look forward to a lot of growth in the Boathouse Bistro complimented by some very exciting Bar and Gaming promotions coming your way.
And speaking of functions - here's what's happening in the next week..
Tonight in the Bistro it's Roast Night, for only $14.00 this is an exceptionally popular weekly event - bookings are definitely recommended or you risk missing out...
Tomorrow is T.G.I.F. Night in Beachcombers Bar and Gaming, starting with Friday knock off's, Meat tray raffles and of course the 7pm Members Draw for $100.00!! Only current members are eligible to win the money so make sure you renew your membership Before 7pm because if your number comes up.....
Tomorrow night also brings the launch of our U.G.L.Y. Barmaid Fundraiser - raising money for a very special cause - the Leukemia Foundation... Come along and see what the fuss is about, and look forward to some very fun fundraising activities in the coming weeks.
The U.G.L.Y. Barmaid fundraiser is an annual event and will run at Club Beachmere between 26.07.2014 and 09.09.2014.. The girls have set a goal of raising $20,000 for the Leukemia foundation, which will also hopefully help our Club Beachmere girls to receive a new ICE Machine for the Bar, along with a fabulous sense of achievement. We urge you to Come along and support their fundraising activities, throw in a few dollars and get behind this great cause.
This Saturday night (26th) brings Club Beachmere's annual celebration of Christmas in July with a special 2 course Christmas Buffet, including very decadent desserts, tea and coffee, Entertainment to dance the night away with Eddie Charles, and a very special guest or two! Come dressed in your Christmas Best, and you may win a lucky door prize! Raffles and a few fun games will complete our night before dancing until late..
There are still a few lucky seats left so if you haven't booked in yet, make sure you do today! For only $25.00 p.p. ($12.50 for kids under 12) it's a great value night out that will have everyone talking.
Monday 28th will once again host Line Dancing lessons with Suzanne from Scorpion Line Dancers. for Fun and Fitness you cannot go past Line Dancing, safe and fun for all ages and abilities.. even with two left feet you can have a go.. Line Dancing starts at 9am and a 2 hour class will cost you $7.00
Monday Nights are pretty cruisy, until the competition on the Darts Board hots up.. Social Darts starts at 6.30pm and all levels and ages are welcome.. for a great social night out, Social Darts if great.
Thursday 31st is a Roast Night with a Difference, Piano Man, Clive Morehead, will join us for a night filled with great music and dancing... Clive is hoping to be a regular fixture at Club Beachmere so come along and have a listen, let us know what you think and hopefully we can make it happen...
