How about forming a Beachmere Community Gardeners Group and get together?

If you've ever dug up your patch of Beachmere you'd know that gardening here on our sand spit can often be a hard ask.

It's gardening on top of a sieve. 

But for those who persists -- and even grow fruit and vegetables in these conditions  -- there are sure to be many lessons and stories to share.

So why  don't we  get together occasionally   and swap tips and skills?

It wouldn't matter how much of a green thumb you were, the experience is sure to be worthwhile.

Maybe we could even explore the option of establishing a community  or allotment garden..or looking into supplying locally grown produce and plants to the community?
