Chasing the Tide
I seem to be the only person who runs the tidal flats.
By chasing the low tide around the clock you get yourself a great surface to run on.
And south of town, south of the dog park, you get to run with the family pets.
My new comic book is the story of a run -- a 5 kilometre run to the mouth of the Caboolture River.
This weather the conditions are perfect for stepping up the pace to chase the low tide.
You may have to tippy toe between the armies of Soldier Crabs, and detour around shore birds -- but at low tide the tidal pools are usually free of Stingrays and you wade at a gallop through the waters along your route.
