For any gardener who is visited by the local bush turkey....

This is Brisbane. Once a city of two million people...two million very happy people, living the idyllic life in their suburban backyards. It seemed just beautiful one day and perfect the next. What has happened here was caused by a force which had been entirely beyond the scope of human imagination. Brisbane, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the country...even in Canberra. There were once many people here who could've told of what they saw... now there are only a few.It is they who know the world can never be the same. A few people cried out, fought back. Some tried to bargain with it. But most were silent. And then...
We are forced to remember the line from Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita; Vishnu takes on his feathered form and says, "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
And it all began in the gardens....
